Privacy Policy
Trove is an offline collection tracker for Android, published by Rosesoft. Short version: Trove collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What Trove collects
Nothing. Trove does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter into Trove is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage:
- collection names, emoji and colours
- item names, notes, status, quantity, value and dates
- custom fields and their values
- photos you take or choose for items
Photos are copied into Trove's private folder when you add them. Trove does not read, index or upload any other photos on your device.
Network access
Trove does not request internet permission and makes no network requests. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising.
Permissions
Trove uses the Android system camera and photo picker. Those system components handle access on your behalf; Trove itself declares no camera, storage or location permissions.
Deleting your data
Delete an item or a collection inside the app to remove it and its photos. Uninstalling Trove removes all of its data from your device. Because nothing is stored anywhere else, there is nothing further to request.
Children
Trove is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
